As the calendar turns to a new year, I look back at the incredible journey of 2024. A lot happened, good and bad, but it was more good than bad.
2024 was filled with its moments and some achievements. I graduated from university and got promoted at work. I claimed airdrops thanks to the crazy farming we did in the Attack on Airdrops group chat.
There were bad moments in 2024. In April 2024, I was completely broke. What happened financially in April 2024 should never repeat itself. I was ineligible for ZK Sync, which I farmed with everything in me (ZK Sync will crumble!).
I remember struggling to complete my final-year project and trying to defend it, as well as the stuttering and anxiousness.
Experience as a Web3 Content Creator and Ambassador
December 2024 marked one year of my journey as an ambassador and content creator in the Web3 space. This year, I’ve had the privilege of educating and inspiring others about the potential of blockchain technology.
As an ambassador and educator for Valora, I focused on showcasing its amazing features. These features include Cross-Chain Swaps, Live Links, and mobile-first crypto transactions. My goal has always been to promote financial inclusion and make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone.
Some of my key achievements in this space included:
- Publishing a series of educational posts and videos that garnered a significant audience.
- Collaborating with other Web3 enthusiasts to create content that breaks down complex blockchain concepts.
- Expanding my network within the crypto community and learning from experts.
- The team at Blockchain Club UNILAG did magic. From our first real-life event with Solana All-Stars to our first virtual Onboarding Program, we delivered well.
Back To Tech, Career and Japa Plan: Cybersecurity
In November 2024, I enrolled in the Cybersecurity Diploma Program at AltSchool Africa. Tech is unavoidable for me. Cybersecurity is an interesting path. I’m considering a career in Information or Network Security, driven by a passion for tech and money.
Challenges and Lessons Learned
I learned a lot in 2024. The key lessons I’ve learned this year:
- Growth often comes from stepping out of your comfort zone.
- Collaboration and community are invaluable in any field.
- Never underestimate the power of consistent effort, no matter how small it may seem.
- Making better financial decisions/resolutions.
Looking Ahead
This 2025, I am looking forward to what lies ahead.

- Advance my cybersecurity skills and pursue certifications that will open doors to new career opportunities.
